Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) stated that their policy didn't allow Content Providers to sell a point system by SMS. According to BNM, every SMS purchases needed to be use as Mobile Content only.

MMCP will prepare a proposal on a working mechanism that enables Content Providers to make a point system transaction through SMS.
